John is the principal adviser and Director and is one of the founders of Broadleaf. Working alongside Sara, his focus is on providing direction for the business and he believes in establishing professional and long term relationships with all clients. Outside of office hours, John enjoys fell walking and supporting Everton and is also involved in fund raising for the charities associated with the club.
Co-founder and Director – Sara controls the Company’s finances and oversees the day to day running of the business. Sara’s attention to detail includes researching and checking the ‘finer details in print’ and keeping control of the Company cheque book!! A keen animal lover – Sara is outdoors walking the dogs at every opportunity whatever the weather and tries to keep fit by swimming in a ‘preferably’ heated pool.
Diane is the longest serving employee of the Company, joining in 1996. Diane works alongside her fellow Directors in relation to compliance, reporting procedures and completes her role with the supervision of the Administration Dept. Outside of office hours, Diane enjoys walking, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren.
Mike has been working in the financial services sector since 1995 after graduating with an Honours Degree in Economics. His clients describe him as relaxed and knowledgeable and this can be verified by Mike achieving Chartered status in 2015. Mike is married with two children but still finds time to play golf on a regular basis and watch football.
With his amicable approach and his experience in the field spanning 30 years, Glen is able to provide clients with the advice that is particular to their needs. No longer being involved in Rugby Union, Glen enjoys outdoor activities and spends much of his spare time in the Lake District, walking the Fells.
Paul is a Chartered Financial Planner with almost 20 years’ experience in financial services. He specialises in Investment and Retirement Planning but has a wealth of experience in protection and estate planning. Paul takes great pride in helping his clients reach their goals and life ambitions. Paul has achieved Chartered Status, the professions’ gold standard for financial planners. Outside of work Paul is a family man who likes football, cooking and being up in the mountains.
Stuart has worked in financial services since leaving University and has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience over the years. He specialises in pension and investment planning and has been directly involved in pension transfers since the early eighties. Such experience has proved invaluable to many clients when examining the pros and cons of pension freedom. Stuart is married with two grown up children and runs around 15 miles per week in order to stay fit. But, by his own admission he much prefers a gentle stroll in the Lake District or North Wales.
Ann has always worked in an admin role – whether this was shipping to accountancy or law.
For those that know Ann, she thrives on providing customer service and enjoys the challenge of learning new skills. She likes to dance, loves live music and the theatre and can also be found out walking most weekends.
Before joining the Company in 2006, Chris worked for most of the large Financial Service providers. Researching products, funds and keeping a well trained eye on the Stock Market now takes up most of his day. Chris loves cars – the older the better, especially those that need some TLC!!! He is also a supporter of Man United, (unfortunately).
Tracy only recently moved to the Company having gained a healthy work ethic after many years in Financial Services. She has already enthusiastically demonstrated her well organised multi-tasking skills and has quickly become an invaluable member of the team. Her hobbies include embroidery, reading – especially thrillers and spending time with her granddaughter. She also is an avid rugby union fan!
Wendy joined the Company in April 2018, swopping the bright lights of Liverpool for a working life on The Wirral. Her career in Financial Services spans over 20 years, with much experience in a management role. Wendy is an avid Zombie movie watcher, preferably with the comfort of a home cooked meal and a bottle of wine.
Jennifer started working for us as an Administrator after returning from the sunnier climes of Malta and as a ‘newcomer’ to the industry, has quickly adapted to the regulations of Financial Services. Her interest include health and fitness and she runs between 5- 10 miles per week. (Phew!). Jennifer also enjoys travelling and visiting new places.
Jackie is one of our newest members of admin. She has been in the industry for nearly 35 years so has brought with her a wealth of office experience. (Even she agrees that’s a long time!!). In her spare time, Jackie is a member of the National Trust and a HUGE Strictly Come Dancing fan.
Nicole started with us in July 2018 having spent over 10 years as an administrator in various sectors. She grew up in France and loves to bake and cook, (not always with garlic), and is currently working towards a diploma in Criminology. Nicole loves to travel to new places and enjoys spending time with her young son.
Jen is the friendly voice at the end of the phone. Business Administration and making the coffee takes up most of her day in between chatting with Clients and helping answer their questions. Away from the office Jen is an avid reader of any books although she does like the scary ones. Her grandchildren also keep her occupied.
